Combined efforts of the Department of Road Transport and Safety (DRTS) and Botswana Police has led to 29 individuals being questioned by the police for allegedly buying drivers’ licences.

This comes a few days after five examiners were arrested for allegedly selling drivers’ licences.

Last week The Monitor sister newspaper, Mmegi reported that five examiners from the DRTS offices in Gaborone, Molepolole and Mahalapye have been arrested for allegedly selling drivers’ licences.
