Lesbians, Gays and Bisexuals of Botswana (LEGABIBO) strongly condemns a video circulating on social media where a man (name known to this publication) seemed to suggest that condoms are not used in the LGBTI community.

“Lesbians, Gays and Bisexuals of Botswana warn the public about a video circulating on multiple social media platforms driving false and potentially harmful information about LGBTI sexual acts.

This information about the LGBTI community is not only misleading but may cause unnecessary harm and panic to the LGBTI community as well as the public at large. With that in mind, we urge the public to only rely on credible sources of information like ourselves on any issues of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression,” a statement from LEGABIBO reads.
