LAPCAS rolls-out to Mogoditshane

MOGODITSHANE: The fourth component of the Land Administration Procedures, Capacity and Systems (LAPCAS) reform and Systematic Land adjudication is at the rollout stage in the Mogditshane/Thamaga Sub-District.

The Sub-Council chairperson, Driver Motlokwa said yesterday that the exercise started this month and the Mogoditshane Sub-Land Board area is treated as the first priority. He was speaking at the second ordinary session of the full Sub-District Council meeting.

He said there are three site offices located at Mogoditshane, Gabane and Mmopane Kgotlas where plot owners will be assisted in the exercise. He therefore urged councillors to inform the public about the project and to request landowners to make their boundaries visible and well demarcated. He told the councillors to request the landowners to have proof of ownership and valid National Identity (ID) ready.
