Kenyan Preacher calls for Church�s repentance

A Kenyan Christian minister Prophet David Owuor has said the Church in Botswana is corrupt and should thus repent. Speaking at a ministers conference in Gaborone over the weekend, Owuor said the Church had condoned ‘prosperity gospel’, sexual immorality and other immoral behaviours to the point the government was now castigating it, when it should be the other way round.

“Botswana has become the country where anyone can come from anywhere and set up a church, make lots of money and ship it back to their country,” he said.

He said it was shameful that the church was now receiving direction from the government, when it should be the one giving advice.
