Kenya Airways went an extra mile to celebrate and appreciate their stakeholders last week Thursday. The airliner recognised the value of several local travel agencies with awards of appreciation under six categories.

The categories included ‘Asante Sana’ that means ‘Thank You’ in Swahili, Top Selling Agent-Groups, Top Selling Upcoming Agency, and Top Selling Consultants among others. Speaking at the event, Kenya Airways Country Manager, Juliet Zintambila expressed that the evening was hosted and dedicated to all the travel agencies that have been working with them.  She said that since they started their operations in Botswana in 2009 travel agencies have been nothing but supportive to the airliner. She added that if it were not for the prop up by the agencies, the airline would not have been able to penetrate the Botswana market to the degree that it has.

“We appreciate and compliment all the travel agents who have worked hard to sell KQ and commend them for their performance. We are truly grateful for your hard work and support,“ she said.
