The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has agreed to grant Justice Zein Kebonang special leave for the duration of the P250 million National Petroleum Fund (NPF) case.

This was a unanimous decision taken last week after Kebonang and others appeared for mention at the Broadhurst Magistrate’s Court. Kebonang and his twin brother former Cabinet Minister and Member of Parliament (MP) for Lobatse Sadique Kebonang were added into the new charge sheet.

The twin brothers are facing a pile of criminal charges amounting to over P130 million. They joined Seretse, Kenneth Kerekang, executive director of Botswana Energy Regulatory Authority (BERA), Mogomotsi Seretse, younger brother to Bakang and Kago Stimela.
