Motswaledi died on Wednesday morning along the Pitsane-Ramatlabama road.  There was not enough parking for the vehicles of the attendees and most of them stood outside the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) offices during the briefing.

At the briefing, a still shaken UDC president Duma Boko, who broke down at the previous day’s press conference said: “It is a very difficult exercise to speak and consol a nation in shock and pain, when you are in shock and pain”.
