Graduates Urged To Be For Self-Reliant

The lesson that 1,008 graduands of the affiliated institutions of the University of Botswana (UB) who graduated on Friday have acquired is that they need to be self-reliant.

They carry this lesson with them as they enter a new phase in their lives, the assistant minister of Tertiary Education, Research, Science and Technology, Fidelis Molao has said.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony at the UB Indoor Sports Centre, Molao said jobs would not be offered to the graduates on a silver platter hence there is need for change of mindset.
