Govt Disingenuous With Asylum Seekers-Moseki

FRANCISTOWN: The government of Botswana has been accused of being disingenuous with her statement that she delivered at the recent United Nations (UN) meeting of the Committee on the rights of the child pre-sessional working group 78th session in Geneva, Switzerland recently.

In her address at the UN meeting which ended on October 6, the permanent secretary (PS) in the Ministry of Defence, Justice and Security Segwakeng Tsiane said:

“Following the 2016 summit that was held in New York, the government of Botswana has intensified its support to refugees.
