Gare Likely Unopposed In 2019 BDP Primaries

Newly elected Moshupa- Manayana legislator, Karabo Gare is unlikely to be opposed for the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) primaries in the constituency.

This comes after Boikhitso Disele who had submitted his name wrote to the party to withdraw his candidacy.

Gare had won the BDP primaries with 2,841 votes followed by Lentswe Mosanako with 767 and Stephan Kganela trailed with 514 votes.  Disele managed only 182 votes while Benjamin Mogodi managed to convince only 50 people to vote for him.
