Court denies Zim asylum seeker bail

FRANCISTOWN: A 36-year-old Zimbabwean asylum seeker from Dukwi Refugee Camp was yesterday arraigned before Francistown Magistrate Court for possession of ammunition without a license.

The prosecutor, police Inspector Oteng Selalame applied for Tshepang Moyo to be further remanded in custody because he may escape if granted bail.

Selalame further told Principal Magistrate Dumisani Basupi that he was awaiting a psychiatric report to establish the accused’s state of mind.
