'Cocktail' bar regulations on the horizon

The new liquor regulations governing opening hours for bars will soon be implemented, according to government officials.

The regulations have been adapted from the original bill put to parliament last year, which were regarded as too stringent by liquor operators.

If the regulations were to be implemented as they were, they were going to affect the liquor industry adversely.
