The Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE) will be hosting a BSE Open Day in Francistown at Adansonia Hotel on August 4, 2016 under the theme, “Opening the BSE to the Community”.

“With this event we intend to increase our reach in the North-East region to sensitise and educate the public about the stock market and the importance of investing.

This initiative serves as a platform to guide participants on the process of investing in BSE listed securities and assist in addressing some of the concerns many Batswana may have regarding the stock market,” BSE Chief Executive Officer, Thapelo Tsheole. The BSE will also leverage on this initiative to educate and inform local business-owners about the prospects of listing on the BSE by illustrating how a listing can become a catalyst for growth.
