BPC Rewards Long Term Employees

FRANCISTOWN: The financial position of the Botswana Power Corporation (BPC) is said to be unhealthy and if the corporation does not change the manner it does business it will soon have problems.

BPC acting chief executive officer (CEO) Jacob Raleru sounded the warning during the 2007 long service and Christmas party held at Marang Hotel last week.

Raleru said BPC staff had to be efficient in their operations in order to save money for the organisation. Though the restructuring of the BPC has been completed, he hastened to say that they still have a long way to go to a point where they would be able to live their corporate values.
