Botswana's gender violence record among the worst in the world

According to United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA), in Botswana, over 67% of women have experienced abuse, which is over double the global average.

GBV undermines the health, dignity, security and autonomy of its victims; yet it remains shrouded in a culture of silence and normalization.
