Botswana, SA headed for showdown over fugitive deportation

FRANCISTOWN: The Governments of Botswana and South Africa are possibly on a collision course over the deportation of Patrick Chirunga, a fugitive wanted by local authorities for a slew of crimes, including murder.

Chirunga is also wanted for allegedly obtaining an Omang and passport through dubious means.

The alleged culprit, Chirunga, is wanted by Botswana authorities to face two counts of allegedly obtaining the national identity card commonly known as Omang and a passport through dubious means.
