Botho University sues students

Botho University management has dragged the Students Representative Council (SRC) leaders at their Gaborone and Francistown Campuses and more than 20 students to court to halt violent demonstrations that have led to the closure of the campuses.

The university also wants the students interdicted and restrained from causing damage to the University property, its staff, students or members of the public present on their premises.

They also want the Botswana Police Service to be directed to assist them in enforcing that order.
