We condemn the arrest of freelance journalist, Sonny Serite by the state agents and their evil intention to deny him his constitutional right to a legal representation.

Botswana government’s intention is to stifle dissent and weaken freedom of the press and expression.

We implore the nation to  demonstrate solidarity and encourage us to stand for our rights, our freedom and our love for this country, during this time of distress.
