Boko Denies UDC, BOFEPUSU Animosity

The Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC) president, Duma Boko has denied he does not see eye-to-eye with the leadership of their allies, the Botswana Federation of Public Private Parastatals Sectors Unions (BOFEPUSU).

Speaking to this publication last week, Boko explained that the UDC is in good terms with BOFEPUSU. He explained that the leadership of BOFEPUSU and UDC met recently and are planning a retreat together very soon “to strengthen the relationship”.

“You see folks, let me distinguish two levels of relationship. My relationship with you at personal level, whether we are fighting or we are not fighting, does not define the relationship between Mmegi as an organisation and the UDC or the BNF (Botswana National Front) as an organisation. We need to appreciate institutional interaction,” Boko explained.
