BOFEPUSU To Know Their Bargaining Council Position Today

The Manual Workers Union and its Botswana Federation of Public Sector Unions (BOFEPUSU) bargaining council partners are today expected to know whether they have made the numbers for the Public Service Bargaining Council (PSBC) seats since the Court of Appeal ruling more than three months ago.

After a protracted battle with rival Botswana Public Employees Union (BOPEU), the Court of Appeal ruled that both parties should apply for admittance afresh, which Manual Workers and partners did in earnest.

For Johnson Motshwarakgole’s Manual Workers Union, the main applicants for the PSBC seat in the BOFEPUSU acting jointly agreement, it has been over two months of waiting now since they submitted the numbers to the PSBC secretariat for verifications.
