BNF renegades appeal to Dibotelo

Two persistent Botswana National Front (BNF) renegades have written to Chief Justice Maruping Dibotelo complaining about the manner in which judges handled their cases on the party membership of BNF president Duma Boko.

Rex Seharane and Thomas Mhale are challenging Boko's leadership after he became the leader of the Umbrella for Democratic Change (UDC).  In a letter dated May 13, 2014 the two claim that judges may have been favouring Boko.

 "We have observed an ugly trend which has left us with a strong concern that there might be favouritism on the side of the judges towards Boko of the BNF. A clear example of the manifestation of such favouritism is the case in which Justice [Lot] Moroka dismissed against us an application but refused to give reasons for the dismissal.
