BMD leader warns on planted evidence

Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) interim chairman, Gomolemo Motswaledi has warned party members to be careful and ensure that at all times, their cars are locked to avoid being waylaid or framed by detractors.

When addressing a BMD rally in Ramotswa Motswaledi said: "They might plant some stuff in your cars. Batsomi ba rona ba re tsoma, ba re tsomela boammaruri. (Some people who hate the truth that we say are looking for an excuse to put us in trouble). So be careful because you might be framed as they might plant dagga or even some minerals in your car so that you are taken to prison when in actual fact you have done no wrong".

He stated that burglars ransacked and stole three laptops and two Blackberry cellular phones in his house recently.
