Bissau arraigned on charges of �threat to kill�

Local businessman Bissau Gaobakwe was yesterday briefly arraigned before Extension Two magistrate court on threat to kill charges.

Gaobakwe is said to have threatened Madlenkosi Masuku on August 18 at Masetlheng ward in Tlokweng, saying, “I will shoot you in the head three times.”

The usually flamboyant Gaobakwe cut a lonely figure when the magistrate read out his bail conditions. He was asked to pay P1,000 informed not to interfere with investigations and keep away from the complainant.  He will appear for mention on November 8. He faces a seven-year jail term if found guilty.
