In legal trouble: MP Sethomo is accused of land grabbing by an electorate

A 78-year-old woman of Letlhakane, Gaboitsewe Maphane has taken her area’s Member of Parliament for the Botswana Democratic Party, Sethomo Lelatisitswe to the Francistown Land Tribunal for land grabbing.

Maphane, who says she voted for Lelatisitswe in the last elections, has been locked in a land feud with the MP following a few months of his victory in 2014.
