BDP cllr in court on fraud charges

Councillor Kabelo Mokgajwane from the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) appeared at the Broadhurst Magistrate Court yesterday to answer charges of defrauding two people of over P130, 000.

The politician who represents Gaphatshwa ward in Kweneng South East constituency appeared with Peter Moagi.

They are alleged to have received P137,000 on separate occasions, from two individuals using false pretences.
