Alleged Molester Bought Sex From Minor With Sweets, Chips

FRANCISTOWN: A Monarch man charged with defilement allegedly paid the minor with sweets and chips, the Court heard on Friday.

The State alleges that Azariah Murinda defiled a 13-year-old primary school girl last year at Monarch. He was appearing in Court for setting of new trial dates in his matter.

Although the case is yet to go for trial, Murinda, 38, shocked the Court when asked by Principal Magistrate Dumisane Basupi who was just curious to know what may have happened.
