18-year-old murder accused denied bail

MOLEPOLOLE: An 18-year-old man Mooketsi Motanyane will remain behind bars for a while after he was denied bail by the Molepolole Magistrates’ Court. Motanyane, a student at Moruakgomo Junior Secondary School was in court on a charge of murder.

The magistrate stated that he committed a house break-in when he was on bail for serious crimes of murder and rape. He will be remanded at Moshupa Boys Prison until his next court appearance on July 17th .

Motanyane and another accused person who was not in court are said to have broken into and entered a dwelling house on June 26th, stealing property worth P19,734.
