Okavango Festival spices up family fun day

The annual Okavango music festival, which usually brings together musicians from Botswana and Namibia is back again on Christmas Day at Shakawe grounds. The festival headlined by LaTimmy will be held under the theme Okavango meets Kavango:rock your heritage attire.

The festival owner, KayBee Wasenda told Arts & Culture that this year’s festival will be combined with a family fun day after requests from some parents.

“From 6pm until 6am the following day, there will be performances. Our international guest artists are Makurunganga who though were not there last year, are now making a return to this festival,” she said.
