Miss Mahalapye celebrates inaugural success

The first ever Miss Mahalapye pageant, which was held at Cresta Hotel in Mahalapye on December 26, has enjoyed success after making more than P15, 000. Neelo Ramphotho won the title while Joy Kopanang was crowned first princess and Gorata Mosetlhe took home the second princess title.

The pageant creator Gaonyafale Phuti told Showbiz the pageant went well and Batswana came in large numbers to support her.

“The elders and the youth loved the pageant and I was even shocked myself,” she said. “I never expected that amount of support.”
