Miss Charity supports charity organizations

Pageantry director Rentse Maganu-Ugokwe told Arts & Culture that Miss Charity is an annual pageant. She said the queen would be taking care of a selected charity organisation for her reign, which she will work with and assist.
“We have realised that there are many non-governmental charity organisations across the country that need recognition and support. Most of those organisations are in remote rural areas. We want to give such organisations recognition not only here in Botswana, but also on an international platform,” she said.
