The director of Little Miss Districts of Botswana beauty pageant, Kefentse Gokganwang says she established a beauty contest aimed at nurturing and growing children’s talents at an early age.

In an interview with Showbiz, Gokganwang said she decided to take it upon herself to groom talent after not winning many beauty pageants when she was still young.

“I started having a passion for the pageantry from a tender age. I used to take part in beauty pageants but I never won a single title and that broke my heart. When I grew up, I therefore realised that I did not win not because I was not talented. I could not win beauty pageants because I lacked knowledge, skills and support on what was required in such competitions,” she explained.
