Ghetto artists join blood donation campaign

FRANCISTOWN: With the Easter holidays around the corner, members of Botswana Musicians Union (BOMU) Chapter III in Francistown have initiated a public awareness campaign on the importance of regular blood donating. The musicians would donate blood tomorrow.

They are expected to participate in a road show organised by BOMU District Chapter III region in collaboration with the National Blood Donor Association – North on Saturday.

The event, dubbed Donate Blood to Save Mothers, will be held at the Francistown bus rank next to Kami Cash & Carry stores.  Top artists have given themselves a task to represent one of the major blood groups needed at the blood banks across the country.
