TAFIC say they are still pursuing a case in which they want Mochudi Centre Chiefs expelled from the BTC Premiership for failure to pay affiliation fees.

The Francistown side was demoted from the BTC Premiership at the end of the season but they do not want to go down without a fight as they are eager to take Chiefs out of the top flight.

Chiefs have laughed off TAFIC’s challenge, with the club’s general manager, Clifford Mogomotsi saying Matjimenyenga should instead prepare for the First Division.“What a big laugh (TAFIC’s issue). TAFIC should prepare themselves for life in the First Division,” Mogomotsi said.
