Bad AYG start for badminton side

OTSE: The Botswana badminton team has started the Africa Youth Games on a bad note after falling to Mauritius 2-0 in the mixed doubles.

Tshepo Perekisi and Tesah Kabelo failed to press forward after taking the lead in the first set which they lost 21-15.

The second set proved tough due to an ankle injury to Kabelo. The set ended with a 21-10 win for Mauritius. In the other mixed doubles, Nigeria walloped Zambia 2-0.
