UDC mourns a revolutionary par excellence

We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the family of Cde Herman Andimba Toivo ya Toivo, the people of Namibia, Southern Africa and the continent as a whole on the death of this illustrious freedom fighter.

Africa is not independent yet, because of persisting imperialist domination, poverty and looting of its resources. We remain poor in the land of plenty because exploitation by a handful of national and foreign operatives whose sole aim is to enrich themselves at the expense of the majority. This we believe is not what men like Toivo ja Toivo fought for.
