BMD joins Tonota north race in earnest

FRANCISTOWN: As the campaign hots up in the Tonota North parliamentary constituency, the Botswana Movement for Democracy (BMD) joined the battle in earnest on Friday, after sharpening their sabers at an orientation exercise held in Francistown.

Francistown South Member of Parliament (MP), Wynter Mmolotsi, and a key member of the newly formed party, said on Friday that, they would deploy their cadres in the constituency for house-to-house campaigns as well as public rallies.

"It is our earnest hope that BCP wins this constituency. But even if they were to reduce the margin, it will be okay because it will give us an indication of how we will fair in the 2014 general election.
