MPs decry delayed payouts of social benefits

Legislators have accused Sandulela Telecom Botswana of poor service delivery in disbursements of social benefits in Lobatse and the southern districts.

The company won the tender to disburse social benefits cash allowances to about 20,000 beneficiaries in the area last year taking over from BotswanaPost.

Members of Parliament (MPs) from the Southern District raised their concerns this week blasting the delays, which they said was a big inconvenience to the beneficiaries.
