FRANCISTOWN: The Francistown City Council (FCC) licencing committee says 21 applications from foreign traders who wanted to change or add new directors in their general clothing ventures, have been rejected since March this year.

Council officials said this was done in line with implementation of the 2008 trade regulations.

According to FCC senior public relations officer Joseph Wasubera, most of the 21 holders had renewed their licences. He said council only began implementing the new regulations in March this year.
