Barclays donates gifts of P16,500 to Nyangabgwe hospital

FRANCISTOWN: The manager for Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital, Setso Setso said that for the country to achieve Vision 2016, the pillar of a compassionate, just and caring nation must be achieved.

He said this over the weekend when he received gifts from Barclays Bank valued at P16,500. The gifts included the microwave, oranges, a walker for disabled children, baby swing, home theatre system for maternity ward as well as wall display pictures.

The wards to benefit from these gifts are the paeds medical ward, maternity ward and the post natal ward."We must remember that we are still in a period of an economic meltdown, as a result our government has cut on spending by at least 10 percent this year, so we appreciate the support we receive from Barclays Bank. Our hospital has many similarities with your bank that includes caring for the needy, so it is important that we stay united to help them," said Setso.
