KBL launches top 40, under 40 initiative

Speaking at a press briefing, KBL marketing director Amakura Erbynn said the Top 40,Under 40 is a new initiative that they hope to grow over the years. She said the initiative aims to acknowledge people who have contributed positively in Botswana. She said: "The people we have selected can somewhat be called catalysts because they have done notable activities for Botswana and still continue to do so. These are the people we recognise because they have gone beyond the call of duty to serve the country."
She added that the chosen people are all leaders in their own right with years of experience in their respective industries. She further said that they currently have selected 82 people from different industries who will be shortlisted until they reach 40. She said some of the names are of familiar people, while some names will be new to the public.Furthermore Erbynn said they will recognise the selected 40 by celebrating them in the public domain.The selected top 40 will be honoured by being featured in a magazine that is especially designed for them. The magazine will also feature information on their success stories. Apart from appearing in the magazine, the winners will also have to do some community work.
