The 25-piece gospel group Jam In Christ (JIC) yesterday travelled to Windhoek, Namibia, for Botswana's 44th independence celebrations at the invitation of the Botswana High Commission to Namibia to perform for two days.

Two members from Mophato Theatre are among the touring party.  Speaking to Showbiz the writer and director of the musical, Joel Keitumele, who is also a member of the group, could not hide his excitement.

Keitumele of the Ntsoro fame said that they are happy at the invitation to showcase their talents outside Botswana.  He said that although they are popular for singing gospel music this time their performance will embrace all music genres.
