National agric show cancelled for livestock fever

This year's national agricultural show has been cancelled. The show, which was to be held in Gaborone from August 9-14, has been cancelled due to the outbreak of Rift Valley Fever and other livestock diseases.

"Rift Valley Fever is spread from one animal to another through mosquito bites," Rabasha said. "The show has been cancelled because we want to contain the disease."
