BOFEPUSU lodges dispute against govt

Botswana Federation of Public Sector Unions (BOFEPUSU) on Friday lodged a dispute before the Commissioner of Labour after the employer declared a deadlock on the 2013/2014 public service salary negotiations.

BOFEPUSU secretary general, Tobokani Rari said this is a matter of public interest and hoped the commissioner will find a suitable date this week.

“Our view is that an independent mediator will be appointed,” said Rari.
