PALAPYE: Debswana First Division North league has been put on hold to allow time to mourn departed players; Lovemore 'Satter' Murirwa and Lesego 'Ricalmer' Matoteng, who lost their lives in separate road accidents recently.

Sua Flamingoes’ Murirwa died when the car he was driving swerved off the road after a suspected tyre burst and hit a tree near Sowa Town last Friday.

Murirwa was with three of his teammates; two are recuperating in Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital while the third was treated for minor injuries and discharged. Satter will be laid to rest in Francistown’s Area-S tomorrow. Morupule Wanderers player, Matoteng will also be laid to rest on Saturday at Rasesa Ward in his home village of Tumasera/Seleka.
