Police netball club played their hearts out to win a pulsating final 39-36 against BDF Cats last weekend, to claim the 2018 My Spar Netball League title. The Cops’ win meant they ended Cats’ six-year dominance.

Police coach, Tshegofatso Monyama became the first coach to break the dominance and also made history by winning the title in his first season.

“I am proud of myself for defeating a team that has been winning the league for six years. I started coaching Police this season and I took it from position four to become champions straight away. Excitement is the order of the day within our camp. To add the cherry on top, I am still 27 years young,” Monyama said.
