The Botswana Investment Trade Centre (BITC) has partnered with Botswana Fibre Networks (BoFiNet) to roll out complimentary wifi access at all four international airports across the country.
The rollout was done at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport, Francistown International Airport, Kasane International Airport and Maun International Airport.
According to BITC, access to Internet or connectivity is an enabler for doing business noting that it also helps in improving the ease of business thus making the country remain globally
The investment arm said that Internet connectivity is the backbone of the country’s development.
For one to access the service while at the airport, they would be required to answer some basic questions relating to their experience with immigration as well as the purpose of their visit into Botswana.
