Herdboy, Friend Appear For Employer�s Death

FRANCISTOWN: In a case of employer-employee conflict, a herdboy and his friend were brought before court to answer to a single count of murder.

The State alleges that the herdboy, Ramokgosi Ramokgosi, 27, and Thuso Diane, 25, murdered Sidiretse Marape, 67, at Tonota village between February 3 and 5, 2018. According to a reliable source, the duo allegedly murdered Marape over a pay dispute.

When the duo was arraigned before court, Inspector Kenneth Edward applied for the accused to be remanded in custody because investigations into the matter were still at their initial stages.
