An unwanted phenomenon that has dragged on since the 1980s has resurfaced this year at one of the country’s oldest clubs, Gaborone United (GU).

The Reds have failed to hold their annual general meeting (AGM) twice this year, as members did not form a quorum.

After the postponements, the GU executive committee will on Monday meet to decide the date for the final meeting. The meeting was initially billed for October, but was postponed for last Saturday where only a handful of members showed up.
