Prisons XI maintained their unbeaten run when they beat Modipane United 2-0 in an exciting Debswana First Division South League match played at SSG Grounds on Saturday. The Warders kept yet another clean sheet and are yet to concede a goal this season although they trail log leaders, Notwane by two points.

Both sides created few goal scoring opportunities in the first half, but the visitors had two chances before the end of the first half but failed to capitalise. Prisons XI also had a chance and hit the crossbar through Emmanuel Thabaki following a good ball into the box.

Thabaki rose high but his header hit the crossbar before it was cleared by the Modipane defence. Right at the start of the second half, Prisons XI coach, Philemon Makhwengwe introduced former Extension Gunners winger, Kelelo Kgosimore for Thabaki to try and unlock Modipane defence. Two minutes into the second half, Prisons XI took the lead through Watunwa Muniazo.
