Mahalapye Police Hunting Highway Rapists

PALAPYE: In a rare incident, Mahalapye police are investigating a case in which two unknown men raped a 31-year-old woman after the car she was travelling in with her brother-in-law had a breakdown near Mahalapye.

The alleged assailants are yet to be apprehended according to the police.

In an interview with the Monitor, Mahalapye police station commander, Superintendent Isaac Mamadi said the incident happened in the wee hours of last Saturday.
